CHEESE SOUP–East Coast Style

2 cans (10 3/4 ounces each) condensed cream of celery soup,
4 cups (16 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 cups half-and-half
Salt and black pepper, sparingly

1. Combine soup, cheese, paprika and Worcestershire sauce in crockpot
2. Cover; cook on low setting (meaning pick the setting that has the lowest heat setting even though the time may be for 8 or 10 hours–only cook it for about 2 hours!
3. After 2 hours add the half-and-half and let it cook for maybe 1/2 hour more till the soup is warm through and through. Turn off the crockpot.
4. Taste and adjust seasonings.

Cheese soup recipe serves 6.

Other variations include replacing the half-and-half with beer. In any instance the effect is still creamy, smooth and tasty cheese soup.
