Now just to get started, here is a simple recipe for chicken breasts with onions, peppers, and salsa. The amounts to be used vary according to the number of servings you are planning.

Recipe
Chicken breast halves
Onions
Green peppers
Salsa
Garlic and/or other spices (optional)

Slice onions and peppers, and put them in the crock pot first. Cut raw chicken breasts (not frozen) into chunks, and add them on top of the veggies. Then top with salsa (about 1/2 cup per chicken breast). Cook for four or six hours depending on your schedule. If you want to add other spices, you can throw in a garlic clove or two with the chicken and other spices such as cayenne pepper, oregono, basil, parsely flakes, etc. as desired, but really the salsa will probably be enough.

Serve with your favorite bread or rolls.
